By downloading, opening or using Family Path Locator, you agree to the terms on this page. If you do not agree, please do not use the application. These terms apply subject to any rights you have under the law where you live.

You must be legally able to agree to these terms where you live. Family Path Locator is a family application: a family group should be created and managed by an adult, and whoever invites others is responsible for inviting people who should properly take part in that family.

You are responsible for your account. That means:

• Keeping your sign-in details private and secure.
• Making sure the information you provide is accurate.
• Everything that happens while you are signed in through your account.
• Telling us through Contact Us if you think your account is being used without your permission.
• The Family Code is used to join a family — it is not a login method and does not give anyone access to your account.

Family Path Locator lets you create or join a family group:

• Only join families you are meant to be part of, and share a Family Code only with the people you want in your family.
• Administrators can manage roles, remove members and delete a family once it is empty; members can leave a family at any time.
• The current free plan allows a limited number of families per account and members per family (2 families and 6 members).
• Do not try to reach, view or use another person's information or account without their permission.

Location features depend on your device permissions, your device settings and the features you switch on. Please use location sharing responsibly and respectfully:

• Only allow location access when you are happy to use the location features.
• Never use Family Path Locator to harass, threaten or track anyone against their wishes.
• Location information may not always be accurate or immediately available. GPS accuracy, network conditions, device settings, battery, connectivity and the environment around you can all affect what is shown.

Safety Alerts let you send a message and your last known location to your family so they know you need help. This is a family communication and notification feature only — Family Path Locator is not an emergency service and does not replace one. If you need immediate help, contact your local emergency services.

Weather information is provided for general informational purposes. It may not always be accurate, complete or current, and it should not be relied on as the only source for decisions about safety, travel or property.

You are responsible for the photographs you capture, save or share with the GeoTag camera, and for making sure you have the right to do so. Please respect other people's privacy, their property and the law — including the rights of anyone who appears in your photos.

You are responsible for the messages and content you send. Family Path Locator must not be used for:

• Anything illegal.
• Harassment, abuse, threats or intimidation.
• Impersonation, fraud or misleading other people.
• Trying to access accounts, families or information you are not allowed to use.
• Interfering with the normal operation of the application.
• Spam or unsolicited advertising.

The assistant provides guidance about Family Path Locator's own features. It may not always understand a question correctly, and its answers may be incomplete or out of date. It is not professional advice of any kind, and it must not be relied on for medical, legal, financial, emergency or other specialist decisions.

We do not promise that Family Path Locator will always be available or uninterrupted. Features may sometimes be affected by your device, your internet connection, maintenance, the operating system, third-party services the app depends on, or circumstances outside our control.

Features may be improved, updated, changed or withdrawn where appropriate. We will not deliberately remove a feature in a way that leaves you worse off without good reason, but the application may change over time.

We may restrict or stop someone's access to Family Path Locator where necessary to deal with abuse, a security concern, illegal activity or a serious breach of these terms. Where reasonably possible, we will tell the affected user what happened and why.

The Family Path Locator name, logo, design, software and content are protected by intellectual property laws. You get a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use the application for its intended purpose for as long as these terms allow. You may not copy, resell, modify or redistribute the application or its branding without permission.

Family Path Locator is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the application, and our total responsibility for any claim connected with Family Path is limited to the extent the law allows. Nothing in these terms limits responsibility that cannot legally be limited. Because these terms may affect your legal rights, you may wish to seek independent advice before agreeing to them.
